This morning, we embarked on our morning walk at 7am. It was dark and cold outside. By the time we reached the lake, the sky had started to brighten. (I can't wait until Sunday when we set the clocks back and gain a little more early morning light. An extra hour of sleep never hurts either).
There was nobody around. Even the kids that stand by the sidewalk waiting for their school bus to arrive were not out, having been given the day off for elections. There was a chill in the air and frost on the ground. Tahoe and Ashley were extra active. So active, in fact, that all of my pictures from this morning turned out blurry.
